Regular visitors to my blog may notice the change in background for the photos.
I'm debating whether to move over to the 'dark side' ...
What do you think?
Black or white background?
If you can spare a moment, i'd be grateful for your comments!
I hope this sunny Monday heralds a good week ahead for you.
It's the start of the Easter holidays for me so I'm very happy with lots of plans buzzing around in my head.
I got the day off to a great start with a guiltily large pile of homemade scotch pancakes smothered in golden syrup, lemon juice and dark chocolate.
Naughty and very nice.
Uniko Stamp Sets used: Beautiful Blooms 1
Right . . . can you do the same again tomorrow please, and I'll be round for brekkie! LOL! *drools from side of mouth*
ReplyDeleteLOVE your eye-catching bloom of a card mate.
As to the black or white . . . bit of a tricky one really. The card stands out nicely against the black, but I think it plays tricks with the vibrancy of the colours on your card. Tell you what - I'll go with whatever you choose!
Hugs, Sarn xxx
Super combo of chevrons and stripes and the Uniko bloom just finishes it all off a treat. Thanks for playing at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Love the pattern paper! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteOh yum! Wish I was skinny enough to indulge in a breakfast like that! Soon (fingers crossed). Anyway, loving your card, those diagonal stripe strips are FAB and compliment the design beautifully. When I am photographing a white based card I go for a darker BG to photograph against (usually Basic Grey) if it is a coloured base card I tend to photograph on a light grey or white BG. Hope that helps a little ;) Lovely to see you in the CC&S gallery this week & wonderful showcase of Uniko. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, love the geometric patterns against the organic flower and great take on the sketch. No idea on the black and white though! Cara x
ReplyDeleteWonderful card, thanks for joining us at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteWait. What? You have that for breakfast?!! I like how you live, Lindsey!! And I really like your pretty card! It's a great take on the challenges and has lots of interest and texture, but it's still CASlicious and mailable! Happy Easter!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteOh, PS, forgot about your photography question. I personally like the outdoors with natural sunlight, but when I take photos inside I agree with Bev's take on it. djk
ReplyDeleteLovely card Lindsey. I love that flower stamp! I thought I would like the black background best but I agree with a previous comment that the colours just pop better with the white background. Steph x
ReplyDeletevery pretty card. The grey and yellow are so in fashion right now and look great together.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us at The Flower Challenge.
