CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #206

I need to make a card for my son's imminent birthday, but thought this week's colour combo over at CAS Colours & Sketches was more suited to a feminine card.

They aren't colours I would normally put together but I was pleasantly surprised to see how well they work.

Why not join in on the action?
You can link up your card HERE

Meanwhile, I'm off to bake and ice a birthday cake for my elder son's birthday tomorrow ...
Oh yes, and make him a birthday card!

January is just one long month of birthdays, cards, cake and celebrations in our household.

It's fabulous!

  1. Lovely card, Lindsey. The colours do go together well and your design makes the most of them. I like the little embellishments of flowers and sequins too. Elizabeth x

  2. Love the hexagons, so pretty and reminds me of bees on a Summer day. And the trio of little flowers is the perfect finishing touch.
