I've been having some shimmery fun with my Pixie Powders.
I sprayed the Background Polka Dots stamp with water and sprinkled on a mixture of powders, then I put the paper on top of the upturned stamp (rather than the usual way) to keep the dot shapes more defined.
The first new stamp set in Uniko's May release is "Simply Said Blocks II".
A set of useful sentiments and a great size for adding to your card designs.
I've teamed it with some fern die cuts, using some new dies from the May release.
Can you guess which stamp set they match?
Whilst that’s got you thinking, why not hop on over to the rest of the Uniko DT for some more inspiration ...

Happy Saturday folks!
Loving the shimmer of the Pixie Powders and I love how you accented the sentiment ;) Beautiful showcase of Uniko. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteNot come across Pixie powders, perhaps I will have to investigate next week as you have peaked my interest here. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love the shimmer on those pretty dots. Great colour combination and I do like the leaves accenting the sentiment. Deborah xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shimmer on this lovely card x
ReplyDeleteOh yeah . . .love this. Anything that shimmers nicely that ISN'T glitter works for me! Me not like glitter! Great card.

Pretty sparkly fun! Thought it was a stencil at first, but that’s a fabulous way to use a stamp.
ReplyDeleteOooh! I've never used pixie powder .... I'm guessing it's a bit like brusho but what a striking colour combo and super pretty die-cuts over the sentiment too. x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shimmer on those dots, and I love the little die cut accents around the sentiment xx
ReplyDeleteAnother tip for a stamping technique.
ReplyDeleteGreat card.

Magnifique ! Bises x
ReplyDeleteThat’s a wonderful, so delicate card design !!
