Using the colour combo from CAS colours and sketches.
Less Is More have a geometric theme.
Gosh Monday came around quickly!
I need another weekend to relax after spending all the last one glossing woodwork.
Those of you who are regular readers of my blog may recall my losing my mojo a short while back and deciding to paint the house in the hope that it returned ...
Well the mojo thankfully did return, however the house remains a long way off being completely painted!
I greatly underestimated how arduous a task gloss painting woodwork was.
The doors, skirting, architrave, window sills, bannisters continue to be work in progress ...
It's half term in a week. Yippee!
I'll be painting again. Can't wait ...
What a great take on our geometric theme, who would have thought it worked so well for a baby card! I wish you best of luck with the house, sounds like a lot of work!! Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!
ReplyDeleteOh no, I feel so sorry for you with all that painting to do! Hope it goes more quickly than expected, and you can soon enjoy a fresh new look in the house :) Loving your baby card with the clever geometrics you've incorporated. It's a really sweet design and I love the bunting/letter blocks which are a fab touch. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteYuk! Unless it's painting in my art journal or on a canvas, i don't wanna know!! I hate decorating. GOOD LUCK with it.
ReplyDeleteMoving on to your card . . . Just want to say how gorgeous it is. Really lovely baby card xxx
Sweet card! Great use of the colors! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the painting!!
Such a cute card. Love the way you used this week's colors in your design and the circle shape inside your square card, Lindsey! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S this week.

Simple but very cute card. Love the stamps in that set. Thanks for joining us on this weeks CC&S challenge.
ReplyDeleteI certainly don't envy all the painting your doing Lindsey but at least you've a relaxing and creative outlet at the end of it. Loving your showcase of cute and fun geometrics here and a wonderful kiddy card too. Thanks for playing along at Less is More x

ReplyDeleteQuelle adorable carte ! Je n'étais pas très inspirée par ce combo de couleurs mais quand je vois ta carte je trouve que finalement il est superbe ! J'aime tous les petits détails qui répondent parfaitement à notre challenge géométrique et bien sûr et surtout le style CAS ! Superbe ! Merci de partager et de jouer avec nous à Less is More !
ReplyDeletePS: Bon courage pour la peinture !
