Well that's half term almost come to a close.

Next school work break will be Christmas... Eek!

Talking of breaks, I dropped a frozen crab on my toe yesterday and aforementioned digit is now purple, swollen, strapped up and throbbing.

So I feel justified in being a lazy so and so today.

Have my foot propped up at my craft desk and I don't plan on moving very far!

Christmas is not too far around the corner and you can never have too many Christmas cards!

The theme for the Uniko October challenge is rainbow colours.

I've gone for some very delicate blooms in all the colours of the rainbow

to take my mind off the very dreary, dismal weather outside!

 

The flowers are from the "Background Builders: Vines" set and

the sentiment is from the "Simply Said: Birthday" set.

Another floral card for CAS Colours & Sketches sketch

and the new challenge: The Flower Challenge.

 

Playing with my new Uniko Studio "Pure Florals: Gerbera" stamps and matching dies. Lush!

I've managed to grab a quick 45 minutes crafting inbetween dropping off and collecting younger son from rugby.

Rather him than me!

It's pitch black and freezing outside ...

You can just feel Halloween and Bonfire Night around the corner :)

We've just come back from a long walk with the dog,

and my pockets are full of new, glossy conkers.

Did you know they are reputed to ward off spiders?

My son has piles of them in each corner of his bedroom!
