Uniko - Marvellous Mehndi & Simply Said II

Using this week's CAS Colours & Sketches.

As it's a 5 week month they have a double whammy - colours & sketch!

I have to confess I did find it a rather challenging colour combo!

They're not 3 colours that I would normally team together

but then they don't call them 'challenges' for nothing ;)

I've paired some of the images from the new Mehndi stamp set

with a couple from the previously released Fun Flowers stamp set.

Complement one another very well!

Uniko - Originally Organic

Good morning Peeps.

A day to blossom and bloom!

Welcome to the first peek at one of the new Uniko Autumn release stamp sets.

This lovely Originally Organic stamp set can be drssed up or down.

Perfect for some therapeutic colouring for those who want to take their time

or great for some quick and easy cards with its crisp outline images.

I'm going down the CAS route, with a little bit of added bling :)

Uniko Autumn Release - Sneak Peak Day 3

Today is the last of the Sneak Peeks for the Uniko Autumn Release.

As we edge further into Autumn, you will see that these last 2 clear stamp sets are Christmas/Winter themed!

A mini Christmas set but with many possibilities. Great for quick CAS projects.

Lastly, but by no means least is another mini set...

A fun winter foliage set, perfect to accompany the Christmas decoration set above and great for complementing the many floral sets Uniko offers.

Uniko Autumn Release - Sneak Peak Day 2

Yesterday I shared the first Sneak Peek of one of the FIVE clear stamp sets in the Uniko Autumn Release.

Today I am sharing two more peeks...

This first peek features designs with a modern take on Mehndi which is set to be a popular trend in 2017.

This last peek today is a follow up set to the popular Simply Said clear stamp set. It features more useful sentiments in a classic font style.

Softly Does It

Seize The Birthday want 'soft and simple'.

 

 

Some soft pastel colours, soft flower stamps,

rounded edges and creamy pearl embellishments were in order.

I was aiming for the antithesis of harsh!

Inkspirational have the prompt 'glamour'.

After a long hiatus, I'm hoping to knuckle down to some serious crafting this weekend!

Autumnal Thanks

We are continuing with our Autumnal challenge over at Uniko

and Addicted to CAS and TGIF both want to see stitching.

I bought some more Brushos in autumnal shades: Terracotta and Sandstone. Yummy colours.

There was me thinking I could never have too many Brushos ...

except I now have as they won't all fit on my shelf!

And to those of you who are acquainted with these tiny pots of brilliance will know,

a few spilt sprinkles can create a huge amount of colour.

BTW if you are planning on treating yourself to some of the aforementioned,

a little tip is to bradawl a tiny hole in the top of the lid of the unopened pot and tap lightly to use.

I most definitely would not advocate removing the seal and using the lid.

Trust me!
