You Spin Me Right Round
Oh Xmas Tree
I've had a wonderful weekend with lots of crafting ;)
Time to head down to the kitchen to get dinner on the go.
It's a DVD night with BBQ spare ribs, spicy wedges and homemade guacamole & hummus on the menu.
Quite fancy some popcorn too!

Stamping & Sprays
Using the sketch from Inspire Me.
The CAS Mix Up Challenge for August is stamping, sprays & one other.
Dull, wet and chilly day today ...
But I'm not complaining.
I spent yesterday's glorious sunshine doing lots of gardening.
With today's weather I can justify spending the day indoors ...
I have a new steam cleaner to unbox and work out how to use, then some crafting :)

AAA cards challenge is 'stitching'.
Addicted To Stamps have anything goes.
As does Stamping Sensations.
I love my stitched square dies - regular visitors to my blog will notice they feature quite a lot!
I keep meaning to get some stitched circle dies to ring the changes.
And it's looking decidely dull and breezy outdoors.
A brisk walk with the dog & maybe a spot of crafting!
School holidays are especially great when you work in a school ;)
Birthday Spots & Stripes
Using the sketch from Inkspire Me.
Less Is More wants blue & brown.
Allsorts want to see spots and stripes.
It's very peaceful chez moi at the moment and
I'm making the most of it with some card-making :)
My sons are still snoozing - either they are growing lots and need their sleep ..
or they're lazy teenagers!
Holly Jolly Xmas
I flipped the sketch; placement on the right side of a card comes more naturally to me!
Famous last words on my log some time ago ...
"Fingers crossed I may get a bit of card-making in"
Since then both boys asked to re-decorate their rooms in lieu of birthday presents.
So after a lengthy sojourn at Ikea, 3 trips to the tip,
multiple visits to the charity shop, many postings on Gumtree & Freecycle, 2 weeks
and 4 huge tins of paint later ... I've finally got some time back to myself ;)
Their bedrooms do look fabulous too!
