Butterfly Frame

In The Pink want us to use dies & punches. 

My Time to Craft want "girly" creations.

Crafty Creations want something for a young girl.

I had lots of fun making this gift for my new-born niece.

I went for full-on pink, glittery, shimmery and feminine!

Being the only female in a house of males - hubby, teenagers, dog and 4 more pets -

it's good to get my pink on every once in a while :)

Love this little penguin stamp!

It's from a long-retired Stampin Up set that I've had for ages.

Those of you who frequent my blog on a regular basis - thank you! - may be surprised to see a rectangular card.

Yup. I surprised myself too.

Found a stash of deckle-edged cards under the bed in the spare room, whilst hunting for Basil, the hamster. Long story.

Suffice to say, I broke out of my "square" comfort zone.

As did Basil.

Spring Daffodils

We want to see Easter and Spring themed cards for the Uniko Challenge this month.

I've used the new stamp set "Beautiful Blooms III" for my daffs

and the "Some Bunny" stamp set for my Easter Wishes sentiment.

I was thinking of cheery daffodils when I made this card;

I love how they are so bold and vibrant.

Daffodils always herald the start of Spring for me!
