Fuschia Flowers

Stampin Up Everything Eleanor, CAS cards
Using the Cardabilities sketch, AddictedToStamps' floral theme, ChocolateCoffeeCards ' request for stripes and the colour way from Embellish. I hunted in my stash for SimplyCreateToo and found some tiny, tiny pink seed pearls & a lilac gem.
Stampin Up Everything Eleanor, CAS cards

To get the two-tone effect for the circular image, i first inked it with pale pink and then "dabbed" the edges with a darker pink ink, then finally "huffed" on it (not a very technical term - means breathe heavily) to get a softer watercolour effect before stamping.

An embossed border just finished the card off - it was missing that certain "je ne sais quoi" - I often find that a couple of embossed lines with my Simply Scored gives that tiny bit of extra interest.

I love the Everything Eleanor stamp set - it is really flexible. I originally intended to cut out the stamped flower images but then felt lazy so just used a flower punch instead!

Enjoy the weekend!

SU card: Whisper White
SU ink: Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi
SU stamp: Everything Eleanor
SU punch: Scalloped Circle, Boho Blossoms
SU other: Simply Scored
