Strawberry Pouch

Stampin up fruit and flowers

Using the theme "strawberries & cream" from MMM. The children made these pouches at Craft Club - hence the little pack of strawberry nuggets tucked inside!
These pouches are quite thick once all folded up, so really are best made with paper. DSP works fabulously, but the girls fancied some stamping so we used standard copier paper. If you'd like to know how to get the gingham effect paper, take a look at my tips and techniques page.

Instructions to make the pouch are as follows:

- Start with a square of paper (I used 21cm)
- Fold in half to make a triangle

- Fold the top peak of the triangle down to the middle fold
(like you are making a paper aeroplane)

-Repeat on the other side

- Fold the peak down to meet the start of the side fold lines

- Fold the bottom corner into the middle

- Repeat on the other side

- Glue the flaps down and hey presto a perfect pouch for a little gift!
