Spritzed Background Butterfly

Stampin Up Butterfly Dies, background techniques

Using FabFriday's sketch and PaperPlayers colour combo.
JustAddInk want to see sequins.

Love this colour combo - very fresh.

I had a play and came up with my multi coloured background by wiping the 3 different ink pads on a large acrylic block, spritzing with water before "printing" on a piece of card stock. It helps to have a tissue to hand to blot up any excess water quickly - unless you want a mucky brown coloured print that is!

Off to knock up some fruit scones (am feeling peckish) ...

SU card: whisper white, Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush
SU ink: Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding
SU dies: ButterflyThinlits

  2. This card is FANTASTIC Lindsey and that EXTRA little touch with the tiny flag bottom right sets it off to perfection.

I see you have some stitched squares then! I keep seeing them around . . . on the wish list they go! xxx
