Embossed Candle

Stampin Up Endless Wishes, Handmade Christmas gifts, Stamped Candle

TheCraftingCafe want something that's "not a card" and CraftyHazlenut wants to get ready for Christmas.

Let'sCraft&Create have their very last Challenge :(

It's all about Christmas.

I had a go embossing a candle - really fascinating how the tissue paper seemingly disappears into the candle leaving your design showing! Make sure you stamp into the smooth side of some tissue paper and hold it taut against the candle with the help of a greaseproof paper sleeve whilst you waft your heat gun over the candle. Don't be tempted to rush things or get your heat gun too close to the candle - it can take a good 5 minutes to complete properly. Patience is key!

A matching tag and card complete the gift.

Defrosted the freezer & cleaned out all the kitchen cupboards this morning so now feeling v virtuous and ready for a lazy Sunday afternoon crafting!

SU card: Whisper White, Champagne Glitter
SU ink: Versamark, Encore Gold, Real Red
SU stamps: Endless Wishes
SU punch: Scalloped Tag
SU other: Gold Embossing Powder
