Christmas Crackers

Stampin Up Christmas Cracker

StampinForTheWeekend wants some red. Let'sCraft&Create has the theme "celebrate!".

These crackers are really easy to make (with the help of a Simply Scored!)

You need half a piece of A4 card. Holding the card horizontally, score 2" from either side. Then turn it over and place it vertically; score every 3/4".

Fold up the 2" edges and along the fold line, cut small triangles approx 1cm deep at each intersection with the 3/4" score lines.

Open it back up and gently fold along the vertical score lines to make a tube shape. Decorate your cracker before gluing it together.

I decorated my crackers with a piece of patterned paper 3" x 6". I used pinking shears to trim the ends of my cracker (before rolling it up) and to trim the edges of my patterned paper. I then used these thin strips to decorate my cracker.

To assemble, put a strip of extra strong double sided tape along 1 long side of the cracker. Roll it to form a tube. Squeeze the concertined ends in and secure with twine or ribbon.

Think of some funny jokes, chocolate & gifts to put inside!

... What happens if you eat too many Xmas decorations?... You get tinsel-itis

... What do they sing at a snowman's birthday party! ... Freeze he's a jolly good fellow

...how does Jack Frost get to work? By icicle
